In nearly two decades since they first got together to play a gig at a labor union protest, the musicians who make up Ozomati have gone from L.A. barrio bandsters to U.S. State Department Cultural Ambassidors. Given their… ahem… diplomatic portfolio, it’s only natural that the “Los Angeles culture-mashers” are bringing their unique sound to the 9:30 Club Wednesday night.
