January is National Staying Healthy Month … not to mention those New Year’s resolutions and newer traditions like Dry January. In the spirit of this season of striving for self-improvement, today we bring back our fall interview with María Elena Montero, a conservationist and yoga instructor, who unites her two passions in pursuit of wellness for “the mind, body and spirit.”
“Wellness is not just about having healthy blood pressure or cholesterol — it’s about the mind, body and spirit. A big part of wellness is being outdoors, and birding and yoga are a big part of my own wellness,” says Montero.
