¿Existe la simetría o es sólo otra ilusión óptica como hay tantas?
Simetría Citadina es una serie fotográfica en torno a las figuras, las sombras, los reflejos y las sugerencias ópticas que se dan en nuestra ciudad capital. Pero también los sitios olvidados, los recovecos ocultos de nuestra cotidianidad, las semejanzas arquitectónicas, las líneas que obstruyen el horizonte, la geometría del paisaje, el recuerdo, la ausencia y la presencia, lo evidente y lo oculto, el ojo que ve, la memoria que capta el recuerdo. La mayoría de estas imágenes fueron capturadas durante varias jornadas de cacería fotográfica realizadas por Hola Cultura.
City Symmetry is a photographic series about the figures, shadows, reflections, and optical suggestions that take place in our capital. But also, the forgotten places, the hidden corners of our daily life, the architectural similarities, the lines that obstruct the horizon, the geometry of the landscape, memory, absence, and presence, the evident and the superficial. The eye that sees, the memory that captures the past. Most of these images were taken during several days of photographic hunting carried out by Hola Cultura.
