Saturday: Hispanic Month Festivities

Latin America’s rich traditions in music and dance will be on display today during Hispanic Heretage Month events in greater Washington, D.C. This morning, the Montpelier Arts Center holds a tribute to the unique music and musical instruments derived from the three cultures that shaped Latin music — Indigenous, European and African — and invites the audience sing, play and dance along. This evening, meanwhile, celebrations of Mexican and Bolivian culture are planned. Details below:
