Los Amigos Invisibles tonight + review of Bajofondo + Ozomati

Washington Post critic Mark Jenkins reviews Bajofondo’s Wednesday night performance at the 9:30 Club today. Jenkins, who hints at a longtime fandome of the “Argentine Uruguyan” group, discusses Bajofondo’s evolution from techno-tango to troubadours of roc-n-español.

The group opened for the Latino hip-hop amalgam, Ozomati but Jenkins wasted few words on the better known Los Angeles “culture mashers.” Perhaps he just prefers Latin rock. That would explain the plug for tonight’s performance by the Venezuelan superstars, Los Amigos Invisibles, at the Fillmore in Silver Spring.
