Mead Theatre Lab Open Call

If you are an emerging performing artist, director, playwright, or other creative sort, there’s still time to apply for a spot in the Mead Theatre Lab’s upcoming season.
Mead has issued an open call for proposals, from which a “panel of theatre professionals” will select three to five projects for the 2013-2014 season. The 60 seat black-box theater is part of the Flashpoint complex on G St. NW that has launched such acts as Taffety Punk, Factory 449 and Dog & Pony DC.
The deadline for submitting a proposal is next Thursday, Nov. 1. For more information on how to apply, here’s a link to the website.
