The former residence of the Ambassadors of Spain launched Thursday the traveling photography exhibition, ” LATINO/US Cotidiano.”
But for some, the show might be better named “Latino: Controversial.” While it’s billed as an exercise in “visualizing the U.S. Latino experience,” the show has been criticized for failing to grasp the history of U.S. Latino communities and Latino art. The exhibition will be up through May 12, so there’s plenty of time for you to go see the work and judge for yourselves.
Exhibition will run from April 4 to May 12 Wed.-Fri.: 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.; Sat., 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.; Sun., 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Former residence of the Ambassadors of Spain 2801 16th Street NW Free
