El Carbonazo, a team of young Latino soccer players in Montgomery County, Maryland, is currently leading in their league. The team was featured on the Washington Hispanic website.

Washington Post reviewed Blancanieves, a recent silent film set in Spain. It was inspired by the Brothers’ Grimm fairy tale “Snow White.” The movie is currently playing at Landmark E Street Cinema. A trailer is available on Youtube.

Marvel Comics has announced more plans for a new Latino character. It is the latest part of Marvel’s recent push to make their comics reflect diversity issues. The character is “unfairly excluded from the majority” and his heritage will influence how he responds to problems, according to Fox News Latino.
