“Un Pueblo sin murales es un pueblo desmuralizado,” (A people without murals is a demoralized people), an endangered Adams Morgan landmark for more than three decades is filled with art world allusion and el barrio references.
Can you help us unravel its mysteries? Who are those dominoes players (#2)? The one-eyed fellow (#3)? The dancing bulls (#1)? Who is the girl at the window (#6)? Any idea what those folks are lined up for (#8)? Can you tell us who the musicians are (#5), or what’s going on in number 9? Please share your comments and help us create a sort of collective memory of the mural.
