Tango: The inside story today

The Embassy of Argentina presents a “glimpse into tango’s past” today as part of its month-long Tango festival. Dancer, teacher and historian Anton Gazenbeek will use video to present  “The inside story of Tango Argentino and its influence on the rebirth of tango.”

In this unique presentation, dancer, historian and author Anton Gazenbeek takes the viewer deep into the story of the show responsible for the rebirth of interest in Argentine tango around the world. Through rare, never before publicly seen backstage and onstage film clips, this presentation explains why the world fell in love with tango and why it continues to be enthralled by it to this day.
