Teatro de la Luna‘s new comedy “Sexo, Pudor y Lágrimas/Sex, Shame and Tears” opens tonight at Arlington’s Gunston Arts Center. Appropriately for Valentine’s season, it’s a story about “the Battle of the Sexes and the long-awaited ‘perfect’ relationship that emerges in that desperate search for love…” (la batalla de los sexos y la ansiada relación ‘perfecta’ en esa búsqueda desesperada del amor…)
The play was written by Antonio Serrano. It’s directed by el Teatro’s longtime leader, Mario Marcel, and stars Alex Alburqueque, Yovinca Arredondo, Marcela Ferlito, Liliya Ilnitsky, Alfredo Sánchez & Juan Pablo Vacatello. In Spanish with English Surtitles. Ages: 15+
