The Washing Post has a nice review of the Gala Hispanic Theatre‘s new production, “El desden con el desden.”
The international section, meanwhile, has a story on Spain’s Occupy movement. While the 99 percenters appear to have lost steam elsewhere in the world, the Post reports that people in Spain are developing social networks and exploring ways to build “a new kind of democratic citizen.”
There’s also a disturbing news brief reporting that cancer is replacing heart disease as the leading killer of Hispanics, though the brief and longer online story point out that the shift is due largely to better treatment and prevention of heart ailments.
