It’s been a while since we found any links we like well enough to share, but today we happened on a few sites of interest:
Grist has an article on “upcoming collection called Food: An Atlas, which will chart the world of food in some of its most inspiring and somber dimensions — from food production, distribution, and food security to cuisine.” Hmm…wonder if anybody is mapping DC’s foodshed?
Another enterprising group of ‘netpresarios has launched a site that Mashable compares to a Hulu for local news. Here’s the Glocal page for Washington, DC — nothing too inspiring there yet, but hopefully it’ll get better.
Speaking of multimedia, the Washington Post has a story examining whether the presidential candidates really need to run Spanish-language ads in order to reach Hispanic voters.
